Reishi is a common name for Polypore mushrooms in the genus Ganoderma. One of the more popular Reishi found in Pennsylvania is Ganoderma tsugae. This mushroom is held in high esteem in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is know as “the mushroom of immortality” although we are fairly certain immortality is not a very realistic goal. All of our Reishi are wild harvested in old growth forests with the utmost care, many still with the moss attached. Makes a very pleasant tea or additive for tea.
