Black Pearl King

Black Pearl King is a hybrid Oyster mushroom originating in Japan. It is a cross of a European Oyster and a Japanese Oyster. This mushroom is known as Shimofuri Hirataki in Japan. While this mushroom resembles a King Trumpet, it is substantially different. It has a soft rather than grainy/crunchy texture and a good nutty flavor. This mushroom only recently emerged on the scene and is rather hard to find. We grow these from culture ourselves.
